How Will Cooper Flagg Fare with the Blue Devils ?

Monteverde Academy basketball player Cooper Flagg has officially committed to Duke University. He made his announcement through an instagram post with SLAM magazine this past week.
With his finale decision he chose the Blue Devils over the university of Connecticut.
Cooper, a 6’8 power forward originally from Maine, is a 5 star recruit for the High School basketball recruiting class of 2024 and is currently considered the number one recruit by every major national recruiting service in the country. He’s a projected lottery pick for the 2025 NBA draft.
Cooper recently reclassified from the High School 2025 class to the 2024 class. With Cooper turning 18 in December the next year of 2024, he will officially be eligible for the 2025 NBA draft.
Cooper’s commitment bolsters the Blue Devils prospects raking for the next year, giving Duke the currently number one recruiting class of 2024. As of their current commitments, He’s in line to join next years Blue Devils squad with fellow top 100 recruits forward Isaiah Evans, Big man Pat Ngongba, and shooting guard Kon Knueppel.
With Duke’s recent wave of successful top-ranking commitments, Blue Devils head coach Jon Scheyer is showing to a be a prominent individual in the recruiting game for college basketball.
